I never like having to write about this sort of thing, although thankfully until this point I haven’t needed to.

The server has been sustaining itself through player-funding through our webstore for nearly three years, and that is amazing for me to consider!
However, the costs of running a server are not a one off thing. We have bills to pay every month, and sadly we’re just not earning enough each month to cover this.
Every month, we have to pay for the hosting of our server, a few licenses (Plesk, MultiCraft, Buycraft) all to keep the server running. These amount to around $100/month.

We cannot keep going if we don’t make enough money to cover our costs. I don’t want you to think that my reasons for running the server are in any way money related, I think I’ve shared my reasoning before – but thanks to all of you the server has grown tremendously and now I cannot afford to cover it’s costs for a long time.

If you enjoy playing our server, I urge you to consider sending a bit of money in, which will help us to continue with the server. If you really can’t afford it (or parent’s won’t let you) you can also help by just promoting the server, voting and all that. You’d be surprised how much it helps.

Hello everyone,
The server will be offline for a couple hours today while we update to minecraft 1.9! 😀

As the server is turning three years old this month, everything on our store will be a third off!
This ends on the 31st march.

As you should be aware the server recently experienced an issue with hacking/potential malware.
(if you’re interested as to the specifics of what we think happened, I’ll try to explain it at the end of this post)

Since then we’ve been slowly bringing various bits back together, back online and I’m happy to say now that everything, except spleef, should be back. There are still a few small bits missing from the website(s) which will be sorted soon, but they are not currently a high priority.

I am happy to announce also that the server will be turning 3 years old next month! I can’t believe it’s been that long, and I really want to say a big thank you to everyone for still playing, and still supporting us even when times get tough.

With the 3rd year anniversary coming up on the 28th March, we have a few events and celebrations planned – stay tuned for those!

Once again, thank you for an amazing three years, and let’s see if we can make it four! 😀
